Driver & Maintenance Operative – Stokenchurch

Location: Stokenchurch

Role Overview:

To conduct a range of driving and maintenance duties across multiple company sites which include: delivering goods to customers, carrying out re-stock of KANBAN and Bin Systems at customer sites where required, collecting goods from suppliers, collecting goods from third party partners, fork lift driving where qualified, ensuring vans and pool cars are kept clean and tidy, and basic site maintenance

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver goods to customers
  • Re-stock KANBAN and Bin Systems on Customer sites
  • Re-order stock for customer KANBAN and Bin Systems
  • Ensure KANBAN and Bin Systems are kept in a tidy manner and stock accurate
  • Review deliveries before leaving base to ensure accuracy
  • To ensure all relevant paperwork is correctly processed
  • Collect goods from suppliers and other third-party partners
  • Maintaining company waste and recycling standards, to minimise environmental impact and reduce costs
  • Maintain a high level of daily housekeeping within the warehouse areas and overall site cleanliness standards including keeping all equipment (Karcher, FLTs) to a high standard
  • Conduct basic site maintenance as required
  • Where licenses are held, ensure that fleet equipment is used in a controlled and safe manner
  • Ensure physical stock control is adhered to and assist with Stock Checks as and when required
  • Ensure the company standard for finished stock is followed and maintained
  • Driving forklifts as required if license held
  • May be required on occasion to work at other locations
  • Support line manager in related duties as required
  • To carry out any other duties that may reasonably required within the role

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience within a driving role
  • Previous experience within a Warehouse environment
  • Must be organised and able to multitask and prioritise
  • Reach and Counterbalance Forklift certification would be advantageous but not essential
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence

Additional Job details:

  • Hours – 40 hrs per week, over 4.5 days, between the hours of 7am – 7pm Monday – Friday
  • Location – Based out of our Stokenchurch site, with the requirement to travel
