Goods-In Warehouse Operative
Location: Banbury

Role overview:
To conduct a range of warehouse duties which includes goods-in, forklift, putting goods away, ensuring the racks are in an orderly manner, picking of orders, preparing orders, goods out and loading of varying types of transport. To ensure a high level of daily housekeeping in the warehouse is maintained. Also, to ensure all relevant paperwork is accurately processed in accordance with procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure all goods-in product is accurately checked
- Book in all goods-in product onto the WINMAN (Enterprise Resource Planning Software) system
- Physically locating stock within the warehouse
- Locating stock on WINMAN system
- Picking and packing of customer orders
- Conduct stock checks as required
- Conduct the despatch of product with relevant paperwork
- Operate WINMAN system to standard level
- General warehouse housekeeping
- To carry out any other duties that may reasonably be added to this role
- Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader
- Follow procedures for all Quality standards (ISO 9001 and 14001)
- Actively participate in team meetings and encourage others to participate
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a goods-in role, with an understanding of a warehouse management system
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance and Reach – desirable – will train the right person)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Ability to work well within a team
- Good attention to detail
- Flexibility in approach
- Basic numeracy and IT skills

Additional Job details:
- Hours – 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday (Monday-Friday 7am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday 9.30am-6.00pm)
