Group Digital Marketing Executive – Banbury, Oxfordshire

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Group Sales Director, this is an extremely varied and creative hands-on position in a fast-paced business covering automotive, aerospace, industrial, security and construction sectors. The role covers all areas of digital communications focussing on our processes, people and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Content Management: Regularly update and manage content across five websites (WordPress), ensuring it is current, engaging and aligns with SEO best practices. Collaborate with web developers/designers to enhance website functionality and design, improving user experience and engagement
  • Social Media Marketing: Creating targeted, dynamic campaigns via videography etc to build brand awareness and driving traffic to our websites
  • Customer Satisfaction Surveys:  Help to coordinate, as required
  • Design Marketing or Promotional Material:  As required to support the sales teams/needs of the business
  • Campaign delivery: Implementing the digital marketing plan and campaigns to create disruption, cement reputation, and position the group’s brands in key global markets
  • SEO Analysis: Driving SEO performance to improve the company’s organic position and discoverability through search engines and key directories, reporting findings back regularly to key personnel within the business to show campaign effectiveness
  • AI and Emerging Technology: Keeping an open mind to lean into new technologies around the world and adopt the best and most useful


Skills and Experience Profile Required:

  • Essential
    • Experience within the automotive aftermarket and/or industrial, fasteners, or B2B experience in an industrial or engineering business
    • Strong creative, writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
    • Creative mindset and ability to collaborate on tasks, communicating effectively at all levels
    • Well-organised, proactive and adaptive to varying workload/tight deadlines; demonstrating strong initiative; can-do entrepreneurial attitude with the capability of thinking about and actioning tasks on your own
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Passion for staying up-to-date with developments in web technology and social media
    • Experience of managing and/or editing web site content using WordPress
    • Proficient in using digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEO tools and social media management platforms, as well as the Adobe products
    • Sound knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
    • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies
  • Desirable
    • Educated to degree level 6 (bachelor’s degree) in Marketing, Digital Communications, or related field
