Banbury-based Tibbetts Group launch Community Food Bank Donations

Not even CoVid-19 could get in the way of the Tibbetts Angels and their commitment to continue to support the local community.

This year, the Angels have opened-up their Food Bank donations across Banburyshire, with a collection point located outside of Tibbetts House, Beaumont Road.

Requested items include:

  • Coffee
  • Instant Mashed Potato
  • Tinned Custard
  • Tinned Rice Pudding
  • Jam
  • Deodorant
  • Toilet Paper
  • Shower Gel
  • Shampoo
  • Soap
  • Nappies
  • Baby Wipes
  • Washing Powder

All items collected will be sent to Banbury’s Food Bank, supporting locals more than ever during their time of need.

Speaking of the Tibbetts Group’s charitable efforts, Managing Director Jonathan Tibbetts explained:

“Every year, for a number of years, the Tibbetts Angels have put together hundreds of parcels for local charities, supporting BYHP, The Salvation Army and Home Start. This year, with CoVid-19 in mind, the team across the Tibbetts Group wanted to make that extra step in helping community food banks, who have witnessed an increase in demand throughout 2020.”

“Not only are the Tibbetts Team donating items which will greatly help those in need, the team are also fundraising through weekly socially distanced, CoVid-19 friendly Raffles, with every single penny raised going to Banbury’s Food Bank.”

As well as Tibbetts staff, families and local businesses donating items to our local Food Bank appeal, the Tibbetts Angels are extending the invitation to locals throughout Banbury and surrounding villages to donate items to those who are in need.

If you would like to donate, please drop-off your items outside Tibbetts House, located on Beaumont Road, or if you would like to find-out more, please call 01295 257 010.
