Tibbetts Trekkers take on the Land’s End to John O’Groats Virtual Challenge

The Tibbetts Trekkers’ planned 27-mile epic walk from Banbury to Oxford on the 2nd May 2020 for SpecialEffect fell victim to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

But, with fundraising events cancelled, charities such as SpecialEffect are in desperate need of donations to keep their great work alive.

So, the Trekkers decided to turn their efforts virtual, and up the ante from 27 miles to 874 miles. Walking, biking and running their way from Land’s End to John O’Groats throughout June, whilst raising essential funds to support the team at SpecialEffect in providing life-transforming technology to help those severely disabled and vulnerable to enjoy the world of gaming.

With a £5000 fundraising target, every single donation will make the difference.

The Tibbetts Trekkers consist of 28 members of the Tibbetts team spread across TGL, BFC and Powell Gee. Each has pledged their own personal challenge to help meet the impressive 874 mile target.

Throughout June, we will be sharing some individual fundraising achievements. You can also stay updated on the progress of the Tibbetts Trekkers via our social media channels.

Donations welcome on our JustGiving page.
