RYMEC continues to strengthen its aftermarket offering with the launch of a new Electronic Clutch Actuator (ECA) range, reinforcing its commitment to delivering high-quality clutch and transmission components that meet the evolving demands of the vehicle parc.
Built around RYMEC’s established focus on OE-matching quality and reliability, the new range provides customers with further replacement component options for vehicles equipped with automated manual transmissions. The initial launch introduces three references covering selected Citroën, Peugeot and Smart models, marking another step in the continued development of the RYMEC portfolio.
What are Electronic Clutch Actuators?
Electronic Clutch Actuators are used in certain automated manual transmission systems, electronically controlling clutch engagement and disengagement without the need for a conventional clutch pedal.
Working alongside the vehicle’s transmission control system, the actuator uses an electric motor and internal reduction mechanism to convert motor rotation into the controlled mechanical movement required to operate the clutch.
The new RYMEC range features application-specific actuator rods and OE-matching electrical connections, designed to provide compatibility with the relevant vehicle’s clutch and transmission control systems.
